HELENE PHEIFFER

Chief Executive Officer


Helene headed the MPO Training Institute since 2016 which served both the dairy and red meat industry. In 2022 the decision was made to create the RMITED to manage inclusive growth initiatives in the red meat industry. She holds a degree in military science, an honours degree in industrial psychology, a master of business administration (MBA) and various diplomas.

CORLIA OBERHOLZER

Training Manager


Corlia is our training manager and is familiar with the agricultural industry as she grew up on a farm just outside Marble Hall. She completed her degree in journalism as well as two honours degrees - in psychology and criminology. She also recently completed her MBA through the Edinburgh Business School in Scotland. 

Transformation Facilitators

Khomotso Mashiloane

Khomotso obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Production at University of Limpopo. He also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and gained valuable experience as Feedlot Project Coordinator. He is currently studying towards a master’s degree in animal sciences at North-West University, where his research is focusing on Transformation in the beef industry.

Ernest Makua

Ernest obtained his BTech in Animal Production at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) during which he worked on a dairy farm.  He also worked at the  Agricultural Research Council Biobank collecting genetic materials. He is currently doing a Master of Science in Agriculture focusing on  the challenges faced by subsistence, emerging and commercial livestock farmers in South Africa.

Wilfred Phaahla

Wilfred completed his national diploma in agriculture and animal production at the Pretoria Technikon and is an accreddited training assessor & moderator. He has extensive experience in cattle, dairy and broiler farming. Wilfred specialises in animal husbandry, health and feeding management practices.

Hezekiel Matlamela

Hezekiel is registered as an animal health technician at the South African Veterinary Council and he is also an accredited training assessor & moderator. He gained experience as an animal health technician, farm manager and training facilitator at various training centres.
